Bristol Schools Chamber Choirs is run by the Bristol Arts and Music Service which is managed by Children, Young People and Skills, a department of Bristol City Council. Bristol Arts and Music Service provides intrumental and vocal tuition to over 9,000 young people across the city - including five music centres, dance festivals, and arts and music workshops - and provides advice and support to all Bristol schools and other organisations.
Bristol Schools’ Chamber Choirs comprise the various sections of Bristol Schools’ Choral Centre, formed under the auspices of the Bristol Schools Arts and Music Service. The Senior Girls have earned a national reputation for their singing in recent years winning many national awards and honours. Locally, they are regular performers at the Colston Hall as well as at St George’s Bristol, where they appear by invitation from many varied organisations that recognise their exceptional work.
